- FOR HIRE: one American attorney, willing to “consider any reasonable opportunity” but only after his release from jail in 2008. So runs an e-mail from Steven Woghin, former lawyer at Computer Associates, to his contacts. While his boss, former chief executive Sanjay Kumar, was sentenced to 12 years in prison for his role in the $2.2 billion (£1.1 billion) accounting fraud at the New York-based software company, Woghin got two years. But he’s looking to the future: “I am writing to you now because beginning May 1, it will become increasingly difficult to communicate with you,” he says. “I am adaptable (to which my recent life experiences readily attest). If you have an idea worth exploring, I welcome the chance to discuss it.”
