Petitions to Remove Roy F. Farmer as Trustee of Stock for Benefit of Nephew

(April 22, 2003)

Petitions were filed on April 22, 2003 in the California state court by Steven D. Crowe to remove his uncle, Roy F. Farmer, as the trustee for various trusts which hold 9.8% of the stock of Farmer Bros. Co.

According to the company's most recent proxy statement, Mr. Farmer, age 86, controls 8.9% of the company's stock through personal ownership and another 24.6% as trustee of various family trusts other than those which are subject to Mr. Crowe's petitions.

One example of the petitions, together with the consent of a bank to serve as successor trustee, can be downloaded from the link below.  All of the petitions and supporting documents are available in the public records of the Superior Court of the State of California for the County of Los Angeles County.  Copies of the petitions and consents can be provided by email upon request to farm@shareholderforum.com.
