Torrance coffee roaster Farmer Bros. Co. named former Diedrich Coffee Inc.
Chief Executive Roger Laverty president and chief operating officer,
effective July 24.
From 2003 to December 2005, Laverty, 58, served as president and CEO of
specialty coffee retailer Diedrich of Irvine. He also served 19 years in
executive positions with City of Commerce-based food retailer Smart &
Final Inc.
Laverty will report to Farmer Bros. CEO Guenter Berger.
