Direct Access Program with Oshkosh Corporation
Hosted by the CFA Society New York
Supporting the essential interests of Forum participants in access to
information for investment decisions, we have organized a program with the
CFA Society New York (formerly known as the New York Society of
Security Analysts) for their hosting of an event providing direct access
to the senior management of Oshkosh Corporation.[1]
Details of the event, to be webcast live on Tuesday, November 10th,
beginning at 4:00pmET, can be found on the Society’s website:
Oshkosh CEO Discussion and Plant Tour

Come
explore with us, in a live meeting with CEO Wilson R Jones and plant tour,
how this Fortune 500 industrial makes sustainable profits as a market
leader in essential products….
Institutional Asset Management, Virtual Events & Programming
The
Society’s Institutional Asset Management Group will be moderating the live
discussion of Oshkosh executives with a panel of buy-side and sell-side
analysts, and webcast participants will be able to present questions.
The
Forum invited Oshkosh’s participation in this program as an example of a
company that demonstrates the effective use of capital to produce
competitively successful products that are essential to society, including
during and after the current pandemic disruption. Our examination of how
Oshkosh management achieved and maintains its market position in several
product categories should benefit Forum participants and Society members,
as well as the investment marketplace.
Many
Forum participants, and also many Society members, have expressed
enthusiasm for this renewal of the company-specific analysis programs for
which the Society co-founded the Forum two decades ago. Having started the
planning of this project before the pandemic and adapting to the current
need for virtual communications that may have continuing benefits for
access events, we look forward to supporting the
mission for which Benjamin Graham organized the Society.
