To the members of the board of directors
of Farmer Bros. Co.:
It is assumed that you are aware
of recent news reports concerning the health of the company's Chairman.
These differing reports raise many questions, and the company has not
provided any information to answer them.
You should understand that the
capacity of the company's Chairman to perform his duties is important to an
investor's evaluation of Farmer Bros. It would of course be equally
important to know if someone else has become responsible for the Chairman's
duties.
Under these circumstances, I urge
you to provide public investors with the information they need.
Sincerely yours,
Gary Lutin
