Management Report of Voting at Annual Meeting (September 18, 2006) Copied below is an announcement issued by CA management reporting that directors received from 74% to 98% of the votes cast at this morning's annual meeting of shareholders. No further details of the vote were made available. The announcement also reports generally that shareholders ratified the auditors and did not adopt the shareholder resolution for poison pill limitations. Based on what was stated during the meeting, the vote for auditor ratification was heard to be 92% and the vote for the shareholder's poison pill resolution was 41%. Another 14.69% of outstanding shares are held by Private Capital Management, which has in past years publicly stated its support of the CA board.
