Re: Farmer Bros. Co.

Dear Mr. Anglin:

This letter is addressed to you as a director of Farmer Bros. Co. and concerns your duties to its shareholders.

Your response to my June 11 and June 21, 2002 letters will be appreciated. Duplicates of those communications accompany this letter.

Please let me know within a week if you intend to reply to those questions and, if so, when we may expect your answers. Any other comments or questions will of course be welcomed.

Very truly yours,
/S
